I found this blog entry, and it touched me: Abigail’s Alcove: My Own Episode of Office Space. Well it pissed me off, really. A really nice guy offers his private office to a new guy at “Director” level. He knows the new company office space will be ready to move into soon, so he will camp in the cubicles until he gets an office again. Works great, he enjoys being closer to real people, more camaraderie, collaboration, etc.
Then, no office after the move.
